PTBF Core Group

Ang core group ay isang ad hoc committee that takes the place of an established board of trustees in a more formal organization.

The role of facilitator is not monopolized by a single individual but is rotated among members.

Potential CG members are encouraged to attend rigorous, multi-day silent meditation retreats outside of the usual PTBF sessions.

Because the core group consists of long-time practitioners who have trained together for years, they serve as each other’s mirrors. It is a system of checks and balances among equals, rather than a top-down performance review.

This set-up makes the fellowship unique in the Philippine context. Walang kaming monastic vetting o external manager.
