Happy Vesak Day to everyone! (Vesak 2026)

Happy Vesak Day to everyone!

Attending the recent UN Vesak celebration in Thailand was a truly meaningful experience. Experiencing a taste of Thai Buddhist culture is quite special to me. One thing that deeply touched me was hearing the chanting from various Buddhist traditions. Despite differences in language and practice, the shared devotion and sincerity further deepened my appreciation and respect for the diversity and unity within Buddhism. Sarap din mag meditate while listening to the chantings! 😁

The celebration also reminded me of the importance of interconnectivity, that meaningful events like this become possible through the collective efforts, kindness, and support of many individuals and communities. It also strengthened my appreciation for the value of having a community or sangha (such as the one we have here) where people can grow, practice, and support one another in the Dhamma.

Happy Vesak Day to everyone!

My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the celebration possible, and especially to Bro. Mon B Rivera, founder of the PTBF, for extending the invitation for me to serve as one of the delegates during the event.

And of course, happy birthday as well, Bro. Mon! 🙏 May you continue to be blessed with good health, peace, wisdom, and strength in sharing the Dhamma.

Sabbe satta bhavantu sukhitatta!

May all beings be happy! 🌸🙏
